We're absolutely thrilled to present our Handpan & Voice Workshop and Concert featuring the globally recognized handpan artist Amy Naylor and the talented musician and Voice Journey facilitator Marina Sobol, both celebrated for their unique approaches to music and self-expression.

Through a series of minigames and exercises - utilizing body, breath, voice, and of course handpan - we will work together to play together.

We will open our voices to encourage full musical embodiment, through song and rhythmic chants, and get familiar with our own expressions through the handpan.

Suitable for beginner + intermediate players, the purpose of this workshop is to connect with others, celebrate each others’ musical expressions, and gain confidence in handpan playing.

We provide handpans for all participants! If you do own a D Celtic Minor Handpan, feel free to bring it along.

ABOUT FACILITATORS:

Amy Naylor, a globally well-known musician, handpan player, and teacher, is celebrated for her influential work with handpan music. Based in the UK, Amy has developed a reputation for her unique approach to music, where she encourages people to explore their own creativity and connect with their inner selves through the handpan. With a strong presence on YouTube and social media, Amy has captivated audiences worldwide, making her a true celebrity in the handpan community. She often integrates mindfulness, creativity, and self-expression into her teaching and performances, and we're thrilled to have her traveling all the way from the UK to lead this exclusive workshop.

Marina Sobol is a handpan musician, Voice Journey facilitator and one of the founders of the Handpan NYC Community.

Marina weaves her voice into her compositions, incorporating songs from various traditions and backgrounds. One of Marina's biggest passions is to help others to remember their own authentic voice and to express it through the magical medium of handpan
